What is deferred deep linking?

Deferred deep linking routes a user to the exact in-app screen they intended, even if they had to install the app first. Smler uses probabilistic matching and the Android Install Referrer to make this work on every plan, including Free.

Is Smler a Firebase Dynamic Links replacement?

Yes. Smler maps every Firebase Dynamic Links feature to an equivalent: deep links, deferred deep links, short links, and analytics. See the full migration guide.

What counts as an attributed install?

An attributed install is counted the first time your app opens from a Smler link after install. Deep link opens of an already-installed app are unlimited and free, on every plan. Clicks and redirects are also unlimited on all plans.

Is 25,000 free attributed installs really every month?

Yes. The 25,000 free attributed installs reset every month. It is not a one-time pool. No credit card required.

Do links expire?

Never. Smler links work forever on every plan.

How is this different from Branch or Linkrunner?
