The Firebase Dynamic Links replacement that doesn't shut down

Google shut down Firebase Dynamic Links in August 2025. Smler gives you everything FDL did (dynamic links, smart routing, deferred deep linking) plus install attribution FDL never had. Free at 25,000 attributed installs per month.

Feature-by-feature mapping

Everything you relied on Firebase Dynamic Links for, and what it maps to in Smler.

Migrate in 4 steps

Most teams are live with Smler the same afternoon they start.

1

Create an account

Sign up in under a minute. No credit card required. You get 25,000 free attributed installs per month from day one.

Create your free account
2

Configure your app

Add your iOS bundle ID and Android package name. Use our free validators to confirm your AASA file and Android assetlinks.json are correct.

Open the AASA validator
3

Recreate your links

Rebuild your links in the dashboard one at a time, upload a CSV for bulk creation, or use the REST API if you prefer automation.

Read the API docs
4

Update links in the wild

Replace your old FDL URLs in your app code, marketing campaigns, and anywhere they appear. Smler links never expire, so you only do this once.

What's different from FDL today

Smler does not have a Firebase console integration. Our interface is a REST API and a web dashboard, which is the direction Firebase itself was moving before it shut down FDL. If you relied on the Firebase console for link management, you will use the Smler dashboard or API instead. We think this is a better long-term foundation, but it is a real difference and we want you to know about it before you migrate.

Move off Firebase Dynamic Links for good

25,000 attributed installs per month, free forever. No credit card required.
