Influencer rate calculator

An influencer calculator for a starting fee: platform, followers, deliverable, and usage rights, checked against the sales that fee has to earn back.

These inputs feed the break-even fee. The published rate band stays on platform, followers, deliverable, quantity, and usage rights.

The break-even fee of $450.00 sits inside the published range.

The published dollar range follows follower tier, deliverable, quantity, and usage rights. Views and engagement show the CPM and cost per engagement inside that range. The address bar updates when you edit a number, so you can share the scenario.

Worked example

An Instagram creator with 32,000 followers (micro, 10,000–49,999) quotes one organic Reel. Average views are 25,000 and engagements are 900. You expect a 2% click-through rate, a 3% conversion rate, a $50 order value, 60% gross margin, no gifting cost, and an LTV multiplier of 1.

  • Published Reel band for this tier: $300–$750
  • Midpoint = ($300 + $750) ÷ 2 = $525
  • Implied CPM at the midpoint = $525 ÷ 25,000 × 1,000 = $21
  • Cost per engagement at the midpoint = $525 ÷ 900 = $0.58
  • Clicks = 25,000 × 0.02 = 500
  • Buyers = 500 × 0.03 = 15
  • Revenue = 15 × $50 = $750
  • Gross profit = $750 × 0.60 = $450
  • Break-even creator fee = $450 − $0 = $450

$450 sits inside the $300–$750 band and below the $525 midpoint, so the middle of the guide’s range is more than these sales cover. Adding the guide’s 25% usage uplift moves the band to $375–$937.50 before you have changed the sales.

Published rate bands

Dollar ranges are copied from the influencer table in the P3RSON 2026 Talent Rate Guide, which says the rates are based on 2025–2026 market data. The guide’s tier labels meet at round numbers (10K, 50K, 250K). This calculator puts the round number in the higher band, and it includes 1,000,000 in macro. The guide’s usage note is “add 25–100% for extended/exclusive usage.”

A marketplace cross-check, not a second tier table: Collabstr’s 2026 Influencer Marketing Report (collaborations in 2025; more than 21,000 collaborations) reports average amounts paid of $193 on Instagram, $186 on TikTok, and $255 on YouTube across mixed creator sizes. Their cost write-up puts micro-influencers, defined there as 10K–100K followers, at $198 on average. Those averages sit near the low end of several bands above. The calculator keeps the P3RSON tier table for the range.

Instagram influencer pricing

Use this influencer price calculator when the deliverable is an Instagram feed post or Reel. In the cited guide a nano feed post is $50–$200 and a nano Reel is $100–$300. A micro feed post is $200–$500 and a micro Reel is $300–$750.

Niche, geography, exclusivity, and whitelisting move a quote inside or past the band. The guide tells creators to quote a range and to price extended usage on top. TikTok and YouTube each have one video column in that table, so a YouTube integration or a YouTube Short needs its own line in the quote. Compare the result with the break-even fee before you treat the midpoint as the offer.

Break-even fee from tracked sales

Clicks = average views × click-through rate. Buyers = clicks × conversion rate. Revenue = buyers × average order value × LTV multiplier. Gross profit = revenue × gross margin. Break-even creator fee = gross profit − gifting. That is the influencer ROI formula with the creator fee solved for zero ROI, and it is the same function the influencer ROI calculator uses. Usage rights on this page scale the published band. They are not subtracted again inside the break-even fee.

Pay on performance with a ?ref link

Give the creator a ?ref=<handle> link. Clicks, installs, and sales stay on that creator in the Influencers leaderboard, including later purchases on the 400-day first-party cookie.

Frequently asked questions

How does this influencer rate calculator pick a fee?

It looks up the organic sponsored-content band for the platform, deliverable, and follower tier in the P3RSON 2026 Talent Rate Guide, then multiplies by the number of deliverables and by a usage-rights add-on of 0%, 25%, 50%, or 100%. Views and engagement are shown as CPM and cost per engagement. The published dollar range stays on the tier, the deliverable, the quantity, and the usage add-on.

Is this an influencer payment calculator?

It estimates a planning range for what to offer. The payment is whatever you and the creator sign. P3RSON describes the figures as estimates based on 2025–2026 market data, and says individual rates vary.

What is included in Instagram influencer pricing here?

A feed post and a Reel have separate bands. Stories, carousels, and whitelisting beyond the usage add-on are outside the cited table. Add those as their own line in the contract.

Why is there no fee above 1,000,000 followers?

The cited guide publishes bands through the macro tier, 250,000 to 1,000,000 followers. Above that, this page leaves the range blank instead of inventing a mega-creator price. The break-even fee from your sales inputs still calculates.

How is the break-even fee different from the rate band?

The band is what the guide says creators in that tier charge for the deliverable. The break-even fee is the creator fee your expected sales can cover: gross profit minus gifting. It uses the same maths as the influencer ROI calculator. A quote inside the band can still sit above what your margin supports.

How should I pay a creator on performance?

Agree the fee, then give the creator a ?ref= link so clicks, installs, and sales stay on that handle. Smler shows them on the Influencers leaderboard. The 400-day first-party cookie can credit a purchase weeks later. Reward rules stay in your own system.
